Yeah, the truth is that the guy sometimes says some things that make my head pop off. I live by an expression that I think speaks to that – “Eat the meat; leave the bones”. The truth is there are parts of who I am that are “bones” too, so I can cut Jim Carrey the same slack. Not sure I can say the same thing about Robert DeNiro, who seems to spout nothing but hate these days without providing any words of inspiration.
So, if you thought Jim Carrey was just the funny guy or the guy who has been in the center of so much recent pain, then prepare to be surprised and perhaps encouraged.
