The CauseACTION journey has been a much longer and some would say, unusual one. It seems that when we got it in our heads to go where we were led in the desire to “Take Action” well, we took that both literally and figuratively.
Into both Iraq and Afghanistan…
The concept behind HonorBound, the TV Series was to show the American public the extent to which our Nation’s military was committed to our defense (what the Pentagon refers to as the “kinetic” war) and the war for “hearts and minds”.
Oh, I know some of you might wince at that expression but whether you do or don’t (wince) know this… our Warfighters are very much involved all over the globe in a two-fold battle that does include winning over of hearts and minds so as to empower people to own their freedom if they can.
And so CauseACTION’s Founder and author of Rich’s Rants with the help of the Department of Defense put together three media embeds – one into Iraq to report on the painful reality of human and sex-trafficking in war zones; and two into Afghanistan to show America that are brave men and women do a whole lot more than perhaps people realize.
So, in the tradition of awareness but above all action, we start you off here with the trailer to this TV series project “HonorBound”. Here you will learn about the lesser-know and courageous work our troops in the fight. And you will learn about “FET” (Female Engagement Teams), on-Forward Operating Base (FOB) therapy dogs (who each carry a rank) and more.
